Comments/Requests for information I'm learning a lot about my English forebears through web-sites like this. My great,great-grandparents, William Heath and Ann Robinson were married in Penkridge in 1850. My web-site is currently under re-construction after being acidentally erased. I had four years of information on the site. It is titled "Heaths and More" and is about coal mining in England and in Michigan.

Comments/Requests for information I am currently doing some research for a friend of mine - I do it as a hobby - and have found a link to the Littleton family. My friend is the great niece of Hester Edithe Hoskins, who married the 4th Baronet Hatherton. Edward Charles Rowley Littleton on July 14th 1897. I have obtained their marriage date from various sites specialising in aristocratic lines; but I have not been able to find the marriage in any Marriage Index at the PRO. I have found that Edward was serving as a military attache in Sarawak in 1896, which offers the possibility that they were married in the East. Hester was an Australian. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Comments/Requests for information I have read your books "The Good Old Grit" and "Penkridge 1930 to 1970 The Day Before Yesterday" and found them very interesting, they bring back memories of my childhood and people now departed. I've also found the information in them helpful in my family history research. My grandfather Wilfrid Ingram, Master Mason, lived at Quarry Heath, his father was Frederick Ingram, Master Mason. My mother, Freda, and her siblings were all born there. On my father's side of the family his mother was Mary E. Lyons, daughter of Alfred and Elizabeth Lyons. Elizabeth had a grocery shop in Penkridge late 19C and early 20C. Edward (Ted) and Harry Lyons were my Gt. Uncles. I would be interested to know if you have another book about Penkridge or the surrounding area in the pipeline.
