Cool you guys BCFPB and Shots rock. Saw you folks at Bethel Woods in Sullivan Co. NY. Fantastic sound fantastic music. Thought
the Guiness Song was a pissah! Loved hearing the didgeridoo ( the bride wanted to know what it was soooo, being at the place
of the "Woodstock Festival" I told her it was a rather large "BONG" afterall isn't this "WOODSTOCK".
Being a piper who as played a number of the light tunes and totally enjoy the "Big P" music, I just loved going out of the
box and listening to the GHP in a total "Celtic Rock Flare".

Michael was my brother by blood, but he was all of our brother. He would be so proud of the fairwell that his brothers gave
him. Through his entire life, he never asked for nor wanted praise of any sort. He went out of his way for anyone that needed
a hand. He felt that if something needed to be done, he would do it.
He was never a shy person and would always step-up to any challange.
I wanted to take a moment to thank his Piper Brothers, Fire Fighting Brothers, and all the people who shared their stories
and love for a fallen brother.
My family and I were truly moved by all the out pooring of kindness. We will all miss him and all he would have continued
to be in our lives, but we all were able to share him for the time he was with us.
Again, I thank all for helping my family and myself through difficult time. |

I didn't know Michael; I am a good friend of one of his cousins. The depth of his cousin's grief silently and poignantly

Mike you will be missed. You are a good soul. I stopped my lessons with the band in 2001 but Mike and I still stayed in touch.
When we last met at Ramsey's Holiday Parade he had a huge hug for me, like an old lost friend. Mike you are missed. Another

I met Mike at a parade last year, he was playing with the bagpipe band. Mike was a nice man who I did not know and he seemed
to be able to strike up a conversation with about anyone. My prayers go out to his family and fello band members. May he

Mike… My thoughts are with you and your family. I will always remember the good times that we had down at the firehouse
and chaos we caused.
I remember at another brother firefighter’s funeral, the priest and brother of that firefighter spoke about what was waiting
in heaven. So, I am sure by this time you are sitting with Butch next to that big pond of beer in heaven with a very large
mug.
You will surely be missed, god bless.

We saw him for the last time August 8th,2008 at my brother's firefighter 1 gradution. He was playing the bagpipes. We have
the last Picture of Michael Drozd. From August 8th,2008. It was nice seeing you though. Back on October 30, 2000 we were living
on Donald Pl in Waldwick,NJ. He came be to get something.Then he showed my brother Chris and I how to throw Toilet Paper up
on the telephone wire. We will never will forget that. Mike you were a good friend to us. RIP We will never forget you. I'll

I want to extend a HEART FELT thanks to Michael Drozd's extended Firefighter family for coming together in support of his
untimely passing. I too am with an EXTREMELY HEAVY HEART for my first cousin Michael and his family and things are even more
difficult for me as I reside in Florida and cannot be there at this time. By all the information I a receiving from family
and the media, I can see that Michael is and will continue to be surrounded by a lot of very good, caring and loving group
