Risboro 2-2 Chesham.
Personally I feel Chesham were the best team we've played this season. Arriving with only 10 players, they were motivated
to get something from the game. Griggsy scoring both goals for Rangers, one from the spot. There was a negative vibe after
the game with many players finding the result embarrassing and looking to blame others for the draw. My thoughts, why is it
embarrassing drawing to a team who had 10 players, all very good players, but played like they had 12. Every one of the players
as a united team!!! Simply nothing. Che and Ash for the visitors were particularly outstanding. Individually rangers should
and could have done more. MOM: James Shrimpers: work hard and made his own luck and for others. |

Risboro 1-2 Harpenden.
Rangers starting the brighter and scoring inside the opening 5 minutes, Griggsy bending the ball into the right hand side
of the goal from 8 yards. Risboro looking looking comfortable, upstep the Harpendens no. 10 who got a away with an elbow into
Callum's face. Both players squared up and the ref booking both subsequently Callum received his 2nd yellow and was dismissed.
Once again the poor standard of refereeing was clear to see. From this point onwards Risboro were up against it but maintained
the lead at halftime. During the 2nd half Rangers contained Harpenden to long range shooting and were again comfortable in
defending. Around the 70 minute mark Tav was put through by Griggsy only to be denied by the legs of the on rushing keeper.
Harpenden scored shortly after and another one followed to give the visitors a 2-1 victory. The referee, during this game,
provided the worst display from an official I have had the displeasure of witnessing. Extremely poor. I feel so disheartened
from what I saw. The refereeing standard at this level needs an overhaul and an improvement in the quality of officials is
most definitely required. MOM: Tubby, played with his heart on his sleeve! |

Risboro 4-1 Ampthill.
Rangers took the lead inside two minutes when James Dobson latched on to a through ball from griggo and lobbed the keeper
with a close range header. Dobbo then turned provider with an excellent freekick driven across goal for Callum to head home.
Halftime 2-0. Rangers continued to create chances and looked very confident. Dobbo scored his 2nd and 3rd of the match in
similar fashion, both from 25 yards nestling in the top corner. We bounced back from 3 straight defeats and with our next
4 games at home things are looking good. MOM: James Dobson who put in a class performance. |

Baldock 3-1 Risboro.
A very even game but again the wrong result. Griggsy hitting the post in the opening minutes which could have been a game
changer. Risboro conceding from a set piece a fine corner headed in a close range. Baldock took a 2-0 lead shortly after the
ball being played through and the no. 10 scoring from close range. Halftime 2-0. Rangers battled hard but couldn't penetrate
the Baldock back line. Baldock scored their third with a direct ball straight down the middle and the striker scoring again
from close range. Griggsy scored with 10 to go with an excellent lob from the goal line, bending the ball over the keeper,
to score his 30th of the season. If only he hadn't missed the half the season through injury. Full time 3-1. Many good performances,
Griggsy, Callum especially. MOM: both fullbacks. Andy and Greeny, both outstanding. |

Chesham 5-1 Risboro.
a very poor result for rangers, the score line not reflecting how the match was played. It was probably the highest temp to
a game I've witnessed this season. Chesham were a young side full of energy and kept the ball very well. Risboro matched the
work rate but were careless in possession. The score was 1-0 at half time. Risboro equalised about 15 minutes into the 2nd
half and were on top. Unfortunately a couple of individual errors gifted the Chesham two goals in quick succession. Two more
goals followed to leave rangers red faced. 5-1 full time. MOM: I'm giving it to young Ash who made his 1st team debut. Very
composed in possession and did well defending against a tricky opponent. |

Southall 3-2 Risboro.
A lacklustre performance from Rangers! Southall attacked with flair and pace and cause our defence problems all game. A deflected
shot gave the home side the lead with Sam Agace equalising with a far post header from a Danny Gray freekick. Southall frustratingly
took the lead just before halftime. After an inspiring team talk which the players all gained confidence from and a look of
real intent we conceded a goal within the first 2 minutes. Rangers pulled be back when a mistake by the Southall keeper allowed
Danny Gray to ghost in and smash the ball home from close range, to little to late. Full time 3-2. MOM: quite an easy one
considering we were under the cosh for most of the game, San Agace, defended very well and actually scored from attacking
a set piece. |

Risboro 1-0 Buckingham Athletic.
Conditions making it tough for both teams but thankfully the cool finish for our very own Mr Gray was the difference. It was
a game of half chances and individual battles. Risboro were handed the team of the month for January and February before kick
off and the win finished the day off nicely. MOM: Danny Gray. Excellent 2nd half performance. |

Phew! I have only just started to relax after yesterday's tense game. I was exhausted last night, and I didn't even play!
The players certainly celebrated however, whilst I had an early night. So pleased for the squad and our brilliant fans.
Especially happy for our Chairman Richard Woodward. Bringing home the Berks &Bucks Intermediate cup has long been his dream.
Special congratulations to Steve and Christine for there superb organisation with the transport arrangements and drumming
up support! Fair plAy to Olney Town who took the game to us and probably thought they deserved something from the game but
that's football. have to mention the goals, our first in four finals!!!! Justin Gordon straight from a corner with just a
slice of luck, but no luck with the great finish from Chris Davies for the winner; definitely a player for the big games !

Olney Town 1-2 Risboro.
Finally a trophy! Not the prettiest of games but played in the right spirit. Olney started the better, with a lot of pace
out wide and high pressure tempo, they got rewarded with a goal on 30 mins. A decent delivery from a freekick 40 yards out
which was headed home from 6 yards. Rangers started to play some decent football and should have equalised through Griggsy
but unfortunately his 1st touch just got away from him and a defended managed to clear the danger. Risboro finally equalised
through Justin Gordon. An excellent pre-rehurst corner routine did the trick, as the in swinging delivery went directly in.
Halftime 1-1. The 2nd half was a cagey affair with both teams playing more direct. Jack Brooker pulled of some fine saves,
the one off his face perculaly is pleasing. 90 mins 1-1. Both teams looked tired in extra time and just when it looked certain
for penalties Chrissy Davis pops up on the edge of the box to fire home in to the far bottom corner. Full time 1-2 Amazing
support once again, thank you. This one is for you and Bobby Rayner who has waited for over 10 years to bring a winners medal
back to Risboro and he can now stop screaming after every mistake. |

New bradwell 1-1 Risboro.
Rangers creating a hatful of chances in the 1st half but poor decision making in the final third kept the score at 0-0, a
real let off for the home side. Risboro again started the better of the two teams early in the 2nd half. NBSP grew in confidence
and started to created chances of their own. The no. 10 looked lively. Sam Ward scoring a worldy from a tight angle with 15
to go but this was not the last piece of drama, NBSP scored a few moments later. During stoppage time, the ref, who had already
upset a number of players and management, decided that when a player sticks his arm out to prevent a goal it is not a penalty.
Words fail me! Full time 1-1. MOM: Jack Brooker. Starting to play with more confidence and showing bravery in 1 on 1 situations.

Crawley 2-1 Risboro.
A close game with Risboro deserving at least a draw. Rangers had a goal disallowed midway through the 1st half from a dubious
offside decision. Both teams having a few decent chances but 0-0 at half time. Crawley took the lead early in the 2nd half
when the ball ricocheted off the Crawley striker, who new nothing about it. Crawley extended their lead when a looping cross
was headed home, poor defending! Risboro got one back in stoppage time but little too late. MOM: Danny Gray played the number
10 role very well. |

Arlesey 0 - 2 Risboro.
Thankfully back to winning ways...
A workman like performance for the Reds ensured victory, promotion now looking beyond us we must do all we can to finish as
high as possible. Vinny scoring the 1st goal, 20 yards out, into the bottom corner. Prior to this rangers created plenty of
chances. Half time 1-0. 2nd half Risboro continued to dominated but it wasn't until the Shrimps slotted the ball home from
7 yards after trading passes with Vinny on the edge of the box, opened up the home defense like a can of baked beans... Mmmmmm!
The relief for Shrimps was clear to see as he bounded around like a dog with two D.... Tails! Full time 2-0. Plenty of good
performances, Callum, Danny, Justin but MOM: Vinny Greco, a goal and an assist. |

Risboro 0-1 Edgware.
Sometimes a team performance is not reflected in the result as we found out yesterday. Rangers could have been 3 up in the
opening 20 minutes and a stonewall penalty not given. Edgware were more clinical in front of goal with the full playing in
a fantastic cross for Molloy to finish from close range. 1-0 halftime. Rangers turned u the heat in the 2nd half and dominated
possession creating more chances but failing to convert. Edgwares centre backs had a really good game which showed how well
Risboro played. Unfortunately it wasn't our day. MOM: Ross, dynamic, played in 3 different positions and look good in all. |

Hillingdon Borough 4-2 Risboro.
Bump..... The unbeaten run comes to an end in just 20 minutes of football. 4 early goals from Hillingdon shell shocked Rangers,
every strike at goal seemed destined for the back of the net. Half time 4-0. Risboro restored some pride getting two goals
back, one from Chris D and one from Geri. Hitting the bar in the 1st half and missing a one on one in the 2nd half Rangers
could have got something from the game. I wasn't going to give a MOM but Chris coming on at half time played excellent. We
put it right on Tuesday! |

Risboro 6-0 Crawley Green.
A comprehensive victory against one of the favourites to win the league. Griggsy capitalising on a mistake by a Crawley defender
early on. The same defender then brought down Sam Ward moments later conceding a penalty and seeing red for a professional
foul. Griggsy converted the penalty. Griggsy rounded off another hattrick, scoring a fabulous 30 yard dipping shot. This goal
took the wind out of the opposition, who were now looking down the barrel of a heavy defeat. Half time 3-0. With Griggsy scoring
his 4th and Sam Ward scoring the other two it was rangers best result of the season so far. There is a lot of ground to make
up with the front two but who knows what is possible! Many good performances, Sam Ward, Vinny Grecco, Ross Broadway, Leon
Read. MOM: hmmmmmm tough one, Griggsy! |

It was a tough match and really have no idea how Brimsdown are so low in the league. Their 1st goal showed great craft and
vision to take an early lead. Geri who missed a good chance in the opening minute levelled the scoring with a well executed
goal from just inside the area #nofear. 1-1 half time. The pitch was deteriorating hugely as the game went on, both teams
tried to play in the difficult conditions. Rangers took the the through Griggsy but Brimsdown equalised shortly after. The
last 10 minutes came down to fitness and Risborough making changes at right time certainly helped. Griggsy banging in two
more to claim his hatrick and taking all 3 points for the men in red. MOM: the conditions made it hard for many but two players
stood out. Vinny Greco, a new signing from Aylesbury, showed class with powerful attacking play and good vision also showing
steel when defending. Griggsy scoring 3 takes the award this week, it wasn't the goals he scored that showed quality, it was
the fact he put two sliding tackles in and got really muddy! The next two games are huge for the club, both at home against
Harpenden on Tuesday and Crawley Green on Saturday, get down to windsors to see some good local footy and cheers the boys
on. |

Risboro 5-1 Cookham Dean
A fanatic performance from all saw rangers easy into the final of the b&b cup. Sam ward opened the scoring early on with a
strike, 20 yards out, dipping over the keeper. Griggsy made in 2-0 shortly after from the spot, it was a great run down the
right by Gary pulling back for Griggsy, as he was about to strike home he was pushed in the back and rightly awarded the penalty.
Danny Gray made it 3 when again good build up play down the right saw the ball fired hard and low across the 6 yard box and
the man was in the right place to slot home. Risboro pushed early in the 2nd half and created a lot of chances but failed
to convert. Up steps Chris Davis who's neat foot work on the edge of the box, allowing himself time to pick the out the bottom
corner. Danny Gray claimed his 2nd of the match when his dynamic running and precise passing allowed him to tap in from close
range. Same ward came off injured with 15 mins to go meaning Rangers had to finish the game with 10 men. Unfortunately and
not fair on the defence because of how well the played, Cookham scored a consolidation. Shortly after Jack, in goal, saved
his 3rd penalty of the season. MOM: it was a close call between Danny and Gary but Gary gets it this week. |

Langford 2-2 Risboro.
This game has it all, definitely one for the neutral in an action packed match. Hurrican Roy Keane made conditions very difficult.
Risboro started the 1st half kicking with the wind but the weather making it very difficult to play. After Griggo having a
goal disallowed, Gerri open the scoring with his 1st proper goal for the seniors midway through the 1st half. Numerous chances
created but we were unable to convert. Halftime 1-0. Langford scored the equaliser early on with a wind assisted setup falling
to the striker who tapped the ball home. Risboro started to find their passing rhythm and created more good opportunities
but again were unable to convert. Jack saved a penalty, one of the softest you'll ever see, with an unbelievable save low
down to his right. Gary coming close hitting the post with a really good run from the half way line, extremely unlucky. Gerri
then notched his 2nd of the game with a cool finish, this lad is the real deal! Chris Davis seeing red 10 mins from time with
two yellow cards not helping the cause. Another wind assist looper deep into injury time gave Langford the equaliser. It was
a sucker punch, but more positives than negatives when reviewing our performance. Gary played very well but MOM is the wonder
kid Gerri, #no fear! |

Old Bradwell Res. 0-2 Risboro Res.
No 1st team match so a good chance to see the ressys. A good win to take the boys through to the quarters on a dreadful pitch.
Sam A. Looking good at the back. Will and Ash both performed well out wide and Gerri a constant threat up front. Gerri opened
the scoring mid way through the 1st half with a calm finish, one on one with the keeper, and slotted home from close range.
The subs were made perfectly as tired legs were taking their toll. The best move of the match saw Rangers build up down the
right hand side and Jasin smashed home a left footed drive in to the top corner. The only thing missing was the celebration
towards the bench asking why he wasn't starting 😉. MOM: Gerri always dangerous and most attacks came through him. |

Risboro 2-2 Southall.
It wasn't a great performance from Rangers but we still showed good character to come from 2 goals down to draw 2-2, both
goals coming in the last 5 minutes. Super sub Geri (16 years old) coming off the bench to cause havoc amongst the Southall
defence. Many below par performances which we will need to address before the weekends game against Baldock, who I'm sure
will be a very tough opponent. Callum and Sam both playing well at the back. MOM: Sam Ward battled fiercely and ran himself
into the ground. |

Agree Youngy. Cal Mansell mom by far. Team performance was one of commitment, determination and desire. Hale Leys were very
good, as we expected but our plan to play on the counter paid off and they needed an own goal to give them the lead. The difference?
we had Martin Griggs!
Perfect team effort from the whole squad. |

Hale Leys 1-2 Risboro.
A massive result today for rangers. A fantastic show of discipline and hard work. 0-0 at half time with Hey Leys having the
best possession but rangers looking good on the counter. Early in the 2nd half Chris put the ball in to his own goal with
a really good close range effort, smashing off the crossbar and into the roof of the net from a dangerous freekick. Shortly
after Risboro pulled level from the spot, griggo sending the keeper the wrong way. griggo then scored the decisive goal, latching
on to a poor back pass, and rounding the keeper. It's hard to pick out individuals because everyone performed at their best.
MOM: Callum Mansell, what a defensive display! |

Risboro 2-0 Loughton Manor.
Finally we got to play! Loughton started the brighter of the two teams with Jack making a string of saves all from close range.
Rangers grew into the game and dominated possession creating a few chances of their own. Attacking midfielder, Chris Davies
opened the scoring from10 yards with a cool finish in the bottom corner. Halftime 1-0. Risboro continued with constant pressure
all through the 2nd half. With 3 nutmegs in a row Sam Ward finished the match with his 11th goal of the season. The back 4
played very well as did the midfield. Justin Hockley very composed at the back. Up top Danny showed quality and Shrimps was
a threat all game. MOM: Chris Davis his touch and forward thinking was a joy to watch. |

Good performance yesterday from the players against a good side. We knew that the recent appointment of a manager with a proven
record and subsequent influx of quality players they would be hard to beat. However, despite a make-shift back four and
top scorer Griggo ruled out during the warm up we still had enough to see the job through. Only blot was Sam's injury but
hopefully he will only be out for two weeks. Leon was excellent in his first ever game at right back and Justin came in as
a centre back looking like a natural! Proud of the lads. |

Risboro 1-0 NBSP
It was a tough game but right result. St. Peter starting stronger creating two chances early on. Rangers soon took control
with a flurry of corners and decent chances. Sam ward scoring the only goal of the match half way through the 1st half, rounding
the keeper, really good build up play. 2nd half and NBSP huffed and puffed but not really creating clear cut chances, until
right a the end. Rangers should have put the tie to bed but through good keeping and poor finishing the game remained 1-0.
Everyone performed to a high standard MOM: Jack Brooker, pulled off, what can only be described as, the best save ever seen
at Windsors. |

Codicote 1-1 Risboro
It was a ridiculous day for trying to play footy, the gale force wind causing all sorts of havoc. Rangers took an early lead
through Justin Gordon's 1st goal for the club. Like a leaping gazelle just escaping an attack from a lion, bursts through
the middle of the pitch from a long clearance to find himself one on one with the keeper and like Michael Owen in his prime
slotted home with a neat finish. Not used to scoring, celebrated with the classic opening of the arms to reveal what can only
be described as the areoplane! Jack saved a penalty in injury time with a fanatic dive to his right. Final score 1-1. These
two players get my MOM. |

A really good performance form Rangers to make it 3 wins in a row. the lads remained very patient to score 4 late goals. Griggo
continue his good form with another two goals, perhaps and England call up at this rate. Danny having a really good game unfortunately

Risboro 3-0 Chalvey
An evenly matched contest, the scoreline probably slightly flattering towards the homeside. It was good to see the same commitment
levels shown today as against welwyn on Wednesday. The back 4 were solid, the midfield put in a battling performance as well
as the strikers. Mom: Sam ward. Took hit after hit but played through it causing the opposition defence all sorts of issues
and unlucky not to have scored. |

Welwyn 3-2 Risboro
This could have been a very different result. Welwyn taking the game to rangers early on and taking a 3-0 lead within 25 mins.
Risboro, without 10 first team players, dug deep and produced a charismatic performance mounting a late comeback challenge.
2 goals from Sam ward in the last 10 mins gave the home side a scare. Rangers created quite a few chances as did the home
side. MOM: Ryan Daly, involved in everything throughout the match. Well done to the whole team who made us all proud.
