Comments: Hatfield 2-1 Risboro another well fought our match between both sides. Rangers started well but went in 1 down through a penalty. Griggsy hitting the bar before the penalty which could have changed the game. After the break Hatfield went 2 up, scoring a very good well worked goal. Danny grey grabbed one back with 15 to go and Ben Lewis almost scoring in the final minute. A draw would have been fair but we'll done to Hatfield who stay in contention for promotion. MOM: Steve Clarke.

Comments: Bushill Rangers 2-0 Risboro 3rd game in 5 days for Rangers which proved to much, many players picking up injuries and with a small squad including walking wounded it was a tall order. And just to rub slat into the wound we have no game this Saturday. The fixures secretary really needs to sort this shambolic situation out, as promised at the end of last season. Rangers started the better of the two sides and had a few good chances to take the lead, unfortunately it wasn't to be. Bushill grew in confidence as the game went on and finished the 1st half the better side, 1-0 up. 2nd half and Rangers looked exhausted. Bushill attacked with pace which was too much, a decent freekick finished us off. MOM: Justin Hockley

Comments: Crawley Green 1-2 Risboro. Another tough challenge against a good Crawley side. Risboro taking a 2-0 lead at the break, goals from Shrimps and Griggo, Danny Gray creating both. Rangers stood firm in the 2nd half with Crawley scoring a consolation goal just before the end. MOM: Tubby and Danny Gray

Comments: Baldock 1-1 Risboro An even game between two very even teams. Risboro reduce to 10 in the 1st half and went in at the break 1 down. the equaliser came quite quickly after half time through griggsy. Then another howler by the ref as he evened it up by sending off a baldock player. Descent performance by all. MOM: Tubby and Jamie who stepped in to goal to replace clarkey.

Comments: Two posts in one day! I'm having a moan. No game today yet loads of fixtures still to play, ridiculous eh?! Crawley Green have no fixture today and we still have to play them away. Yeah, mad isn't it? But of course, they ground share and their host club are at home. Crawley declined our offer to play at Windsors today all expenses paid so we have to go thirty odd miles on a Monday after work. Bloody ground shares! Our last six games are all away (fixture secretary's a joke). Guess what? Five are against ground sharers. Need I explain why? Now I hear that Amersham are offering terms for a tenant at their place, Hale Leys possibly? That's the last thing we need, another bloody ground share. Let's hope the league wake up to the problems soon and realise that it creates an unfair fixture situation for clubs with their own ground. Rant over!.......for now!

Comments: No first team game today, so I'm having a Saturday off of football to watch my other sporting passion, Rugby. Risborough Rugby are home today in their final game of the season and they require a bonus point win for the title! So a big game! I wish them all the best and will be cheering them on from the touch line. Good luck to our reserves in their game at Pitstone today too.

Comments: Buckingham Athletic 1-1 Risborough Rangers. This was a difficult trip on a Tuesday night against a side who have enjoyed much better form in recent weeks. Our preparations were not perfect as a few of us arrived late for the game, and I think this showed in the early stages of the match. Buckingham were a very competitive side and played with a direct style, utilising the target man up front to good effect with pace going behind him. They rarely built from the back however their game plan was effective and caused us problems. With the balance of the entire 90 minutes in mind, I think it was a fair result, however had Buckingham capitalised on their excellent first 25 minutes the game may have been beyond us. However credit to us for some excellent defending. We weathered the early storm and managed to claw our way back into the game and finished the first half well, having a goal disallowed from a corner. In the second period we moved the ball better and took the lead from an excellent quick passing move between Tav, Griggo and Greeny before a clever pass found Shrimps in the box to score after a well timed run. This was more like what we knew we could do. Buckingham continued to make it difficult for us but went down to 10 men for the final 15/20 mins. They hit us on the counter with 5 minutes to go and equalised with a low shot across Clarky into the far corner. I hear the player was a young 16 year old so full credit to him. Fair result I think. MOM: Lol – was at the heart of many of our attacking moves. He's grown up a lot this season and I've seen him go into his shell in competitive matches like these before. He didn't on Tuesday.

A large attendance at Windsors of 105 witnessed the first teams 3-0 home win in the local derby against Winslow United and probably Goal of the season. Comments: Really sorry for Paul Rogers who made the long trip from South London last Saturday! At the time of the pitch inspection we had just been on the receiving end of a torrential downpour and the pitch was flooded. There was no option for the visiting referee but to call it off before our opponents traveled. Really sorry you made the trip. If you come again make yourself known and I will get you a beer, promise.

Comments: Amersham 0-0 Risboro. not a good performance from Rangers and under performing in the league, Amersham played very well and deserved their point. An appalling refereeing display with wrong decisions being made for both teams and on top of this only playing 40 mins for the 2nd half, it was a joke. MOM: Callum Mansell, a good defensive display.
