Comments: I attended St Martin's Sunday School and Church Services from the age of 2 years. I was confirmed here by the Bishop of Chester. Two of my Children were baptised here, and my Nephew. Also I took part in the crowning of the Rose Queen, (Mrs Morris & Mrs Baronowski). I spent many happy hours with lots of friends within the Youth Club and sadly miss the everyone and the area, wish I could return to my roots.

Comments: After 45 years I visited my childhood hometown of Sale. Never did I anticipate such an emotional and joyous reunion with the church members of this beautiful church. My Sunday school teacher Mary Haworth ( Howard )? gave me such a thrill, I will never forget. How can I get her address, can anyone help? It was a hasty goodbye , and we didn't have time to exchange. I will certainly be keeping in touch through this website. Love to you all, and God bless. Vanessa. x
